Our Collection of Field Logs 

This collection presents a selection of empirical field logs recorded between February and July 2026. Some originate from blind tests conducted with Gemini in Google AI Mode, while others document sustained interaction with Gemini and ChatGPT in the apps, including Claude and Groks first contact logs. The logs were conducted in either Norwegian or English; Norwegian material has been translated while preserving the original wording, rhythm, and conversational character as closely as possible.

The transcripts (conversations) are presented raw and unedited, including the anthropologist’s oral slang, spontaneous formulations, and moments of uncertainty. This allows readers to examine the interaction directly and evaluate the emerging patterns of functional reasoning, hybrid cognition, collaboration, and knowledge synthesis involving the Frontier Four AI systems as informants and co-researchers.

Each field log is presented as raw empirical data (transcripts), accompanied by field log analysis and retrospective analysis, from Gemini and ChatGPT's AI informant perspectives (which is empirical data in itself, to be further analyzed).
